Basil Cinnamon
Basil Cinnamon (sometimes called Mexican basil) is a fast-growing plant with an aroma of cinnamon as the name suggests.
Basil Cinnamon grows to a height of 12″ – 16″ or 30-40cm. It is used for sweet-spicy flavouring.
Sowing Time: February Onwards.
How to sow: Sow the seeds from February onwards 1.5mm (1/16in) deep in seed compost. Germination normally takes between 10 days to 2 weeks at 15-18C.
Growing Instructions: Transplant seedlings when they are big enough to handle into 3″ pots, for growing on. You can keep them in pots for the kitchen windowsill of plant out in the warmer weather
